Last week we gave Kylie her first bite of food. It was only rice cereal but it was exciting for us. She loved it! She really likes eating off the spoon and gets very excited when we eat. It is obvious that she wants to taste and feel everything we eat and drink. Straws are a big attraction for her right now too. She started eating oatmeal cereal this week and likes that as well. We got a high chair for her but she isn't quite big enough for it yet. I prefer to feed her while she sits in her bouncer. She is great at holding my hand while I put the spoon up to her mouth. She is very coordinated and getting stronger every day.
Kylie loves to stand up and has no patience for being laid down on the floor any more. She isn't sitting up on her own yet but she rather play sitting then on her back or tummy any time. It is fun to watch her play in the tub. She is fascinated watching and feeling water being poured and will stick out her hand to feel the water hitting it. She is getting big so fast! Kylie recognizes people in the family. She smiles and laughs the most when she plays with Natalie. This video of them playing peek-a-boo is priceless.

T bird loved these videos! He kept asking, "where is she?" I love how excited she is about the spoon and cereal, but she doesn't know what to do with it!
