This last weekend I packed up the girls and hit the road to make the drive to Maaaanteca. We met up with Danicia and Ryan at their new home to check out the progress they have made since they moved in at the first of the year. The floors they put in looked great! Natalie rolled up her sleeves and got down n dirty in the backyard with Ryan. I don't think I've ever seen her work so hard! Their house is very cute though I know they have so much planned and are still in the middle of many projects.
After lunch Danicia took us to see some of the sites. Yes, there are sites in Manteca. None other then the Bass Pro Shop. HAHAHA!!! It was actually pretty neat. The place was huge was an awesome waterfall, fish tank, and river all in the middle of the store. Natalie got a chance to feed the fish but chickened out when she saw the worms she was suppose to throw in.
Then us ladies went over to see Aunt Leah and Uncle TJ's family. Natalie quickly disappeared with the older kids and while Aunt Leah got to cuddle with Kylie I got to chase and tickle the little girls, Erika and Vanessa. They are all getting so big! Erika tried to strap Vanessa into the baby car seat, very cute. (See photo above.) Anthony and Emily were great with Kylie. Kylie gave Anthony huge smiles and Emily got to hold the baby in her lap. Sadly we missed Grandma Root and family but hopefully we will catch up with them during our next visit in April. Thankfully both girls did really well during the drive so I will be confident in taking off with them again.
