Happy St. Patty's Day!

Not sure exactly how Irish we really are but we still enjoy celebrating St. Patrick's Day. In fact, these days everyone who goes to school or works in an office has to be aware of the day or they will go home with red marks from all the pinches! Natalie picked out a cute hat to wear to school and I made huge sugar cookies that we all enjoyed for days. I was able to make sure everyone was wearing green when they left the house except for Stephen. (I don't have a good track record for being up very early in the morning...) I had big plans for the day: make a scavenger hunt with shamrock shaped clues that would end at a pot of gold, cook a real Irish dinner of corn beef and cabbage, and look for four leaf clovers at the park... But yeah, none of that happened. I hope the saying, "it's the thought that counts" still applies in this situation.
