Today is Grandpa Wilson's birthday! We were able to celebrate this last weekend at his house with him. We surprised him with a gift for his newly refurbished home office from lots of his kids. He was really touched, it was great. The biggest surprise though was when Aunt and Uncle Agbayani showed up unannounced. Grandma had an awesome meal and topped it off with a homemade ice cream cake - YUM! Grandpa taught Sister how to play checkers and did such a good job that she almost won, though not for lack of ruthlessness that we all have come to know and love Grandpa by.
Grandpa is so much fun to be with. All the grand kids always look forward to going over to his house or when he comes to visit. He makes sure gets to know each one even though he has 50 and counting! My favorite memories as his daughter is going to Shasta lake and staying on the house boat. Grandpa is a big fan of knee boarding and is known for his "Wilson Whip". The memory that always warms my heart is when he would turn on his boat music of classic 50's and dance to songs like "The Grapevine". Here is a great sample of his awesome moves. Love you lots Dad. XOXO
